 Career Highlights

In The Beginning (plus Japan):
  • Dalip “Giant” Singh formed the largest tag team ever assembled (and some would say the WORST) with Giant Silva over in Japan…
  • July 19, 2002 – New Japan Pro Wrestling: Manabu Nakanishi and Yutaka Yoshie defeated Hiro Saito and Giant Singh.
  • 2005: Giant Singh has a role in the remake of The Longest Yard. The film stars Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and Burt Reynolds.
  • Marcus Macshack wrote:I was wondering why is there no mention of Great Khali killing a kid in training while in APW? There was this Asian kid who’s name I can’t remember off the top of my head. But the kid was training in the garage to be a wrestler and Khali (Dalip Singh) was instructed to give him a power bomb. Apparently, the kid took the bump wrong and was told to do it again. The second time he was killed on the spot.
  • Chris Allen wrote: The information about Singh/Khali killing a kid with a powerbomb is slightly incorrect. The kid’s name was Brian Ong. He had already suffered a concussion but continued his training at the APW Beginner’s Camp anyway. Singh gave him two consecutive flapjacks (not powerbombs), and Ong’s concussion got worse. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Ong’s family subsequently sued APW and won 1.3 million dollars. Here’s a source: http://www.hershlaw.com/caseinv/ci_oth_cp.html#wrestling

#8triple H

After WWE announced it last week, the Triple H 25th anniversary celebration on SmackDown is now just one week away.
WWE hasn't provided many details regarding what the celebration will involve, but given The Game's many accomplishments over the years and his current status as the founder and operator of NXT, there is no shortage of options for what the company can do.
When the coronavirus pandemic first forced WWE to begin holding its shows at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with no fans in attendance, it leaned on showing old matches to contribute to the build toward WrestleMania 36.

#4 stone cold steve Austin

“Give me a hell yeah!”
For anyone who grew up watching the WWE, that single phrase will be enough to invoke a feeling of nostalgia big enough to fill an entire sold-out arena.
Of course, that now-immortal phrase belongs to WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin, who was arguably the biggest superstar ever to step foot into the squared circle, finds himself in a different setting now that he has been retired from the wrestling end of the business for the better part of the last decade.
REVIEW: WWE ALL-STARS
The former world champion, WWE Hall of Famer and actor has found his way back into the world of sports entertainment with a myriad of new opportunities.
How does the Texas Rattlesnake feel about all of his new endeavors? I had a chance to speak with Austin and find out that he still has the same love and passion for the business as he had during his days of whooping butt in the ring.
Austin, who was the face of the WWE during the sport’s ‘Attitude Era,’ is featured as one of the WWE Legends in THQ’s new video game, ‘WWE All-Stars,’ and despite the fact that the game pegs him as a past superstar, Austin doesn’t feel old but he does admit his status in the game is pretty “cool.”
“I keep waiting to get old and it just hasn’t happened yet. I still feel like an 18-year-old kid yet all of a sudden I’m a legend. I’m happy to be a part of that, I grew up a fan of the business and I absolutely love it and I’m really honored,” Austin said.
The main draw of ‘All-Stars’ is the over-the-top style and a roster that features both current superstars and legends of past eras. Austin, who admits he’s not the most sophisticated gamer, says he loves both of the game’s features..
“I love the style and effects in this game, it’s definitely one of the coolest because of the new effects and technology. I was also in better shape in this game than in any of the others. It’s a bad ass video game,” Austin said.
As far as his dream matches, Austin said he would want to step into the ring with Hulk Hogan, so he could “give him a beat down,” and would pit the game’s two giants against each other.
“I would put Big Show against Andre the Giant. Andre was such a magical, mysterious guy who owned the ring, watching them would be great because of their

Kane.
Jacobs began his wrestling career in 1992 working on independent circuits. He wrestled in Smoky Mountain Wrestling as Unabomb where he won the SMW Tag Team Championship as a member of The Dynamic Duo, and in the United States Wrestling Association where he won the USWA Heavyweight Championship as Doomsday. He joined the World Wrestling Federation (which later became World Wrestling Entertainment in 2002) in 1997 where he wrestled as Kane, the storyline half-brother of The Undertaker. Together, Kane and The Undertaker have teamed up as the Brothers of Destruction. His specialty match is the Inferno match.
Jacobs is a three-time World Heavyweight Championship having won the WWF Championship once, the ECW Championship, and the World Heavyweight Championship once; making him the first person ever to hold all three WWE world titles. He is also a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, a one-time WWE Hardcore Champion, and a ten-time World Tag Team Champion; winning the WCW World Tag Team Championship once (with The Undertaker), the World Tag Team Champion nine time (twice with Mankind, X-Pac, and The Undertaker; and once with The Hurricane, Rob Van Dam, and The Big Show). Jacobs is the third Grand Slam Champion in WWE history. In addition to championships, he is a one-time Money in the Bank winner. He also became the quickest man to cash in the briefcase. Kane also currently holds four records in the Royal Rumble: Most total Rumble eliminations (43 as of 2015), most consecutive appearances in the Royal Rumble match with 16 from 1999 to 2015, most total appearances with 18 (16 under the Kane gimmick), and the quickest elimination of another competitor at 1.8 seconds (Santino Marella in 2009).
